When you present a new product or idea to your clients, do you approach all of them the same way? 

In order to better target your market, and therefore increase your chances of successful selling, you should break down your list into specific areas.  .  That way you can more easily present the benefits of the product in a way that would be of interest to them.  What keeps them awake at night?  What conversations are already going on in their heads?  You need to present the solution to their concerns. Are they angry about something? What do they secretly desire? How do they buy? Is there a bias to the way they make decisions?   Do they need to see the information in front of them, or do they prefer to have it explained to them. And, don’t forget to think about and list the possible reasons that they WON'T buy so you can be ready to overcome their objections. 

By approaching your "audience" in this way, it's much easier to "match the message to the market". Show them how you and/or your product or service can alleviate their fears and solve their problems. Be the solution.
